Breakfast and After School Clubs

We are fortunate to have a dedicated team of staff committed to providing quality before and after school care at some of our schools.  Before and after school care differs from an activity club, in that the purpose of care is to offer just that – child care – and the purpose of activity clubs is to engage children in an enjoyable activity.

Where activity clubs are offered by private providers (e.g. SportsCool/Dance Class) parents liaise directly with the provider to settle invoices and book places.

Where activity clubs are offered by federation staff, a minimum number of 8 pupils is required to make the club viable.  Some clubs may charge a small fee to cover the costs of resources.

Hellifield Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club is open daily from 8am and provides children with before school care and a healthy breakfast of cereals, toast and/or fruit.

Breakfast Club pricing:

8am – 8.45 – 45 minute session £4.00 (includes breakfast)

Hellifield After School Club

Our warm and welcoming After School Club is available between 3.30 and 5.30pm Monday to Thursday.  This is held in the school hall and outdoors (in good weather) and various activities are planned to engage the children and help them to relax after a busy day at school.  Activities include Lego/iPads/help with homework/ crafts/table top games.

Our After School Club offers childcare at a cost that represents good value and includes a healthy tea and drink.

After School Club pricing:

3.30 to 4.30pm – 1 hour session £5.00

(Siblings discount of 10%)

3.30 to 5.30pm – 2 hour session £6.50 (including a light tea with a drink)

(Sibling discount of 10%)

An additional £2.50 is added if parents are late to pick up their child.

Giggleswick ‘Gigglers’ Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club is open daily from 8am and provides children with before school care and a healthy breakfast of cereals, toast and/or fruit.

Giggleswick After School Club

Our busy and inviting After School Club is available between 3.30 and 5.00pm Monday to Thursday.  This is held in different areas of the school depending on the session focus.  The current timetable for After School Club is:

Long Preston After School Club

We do not currently have enough interest from families to offer a sustainable Breakfast and After School Club for childcare purposes.  Should demand for this increase, we would be open to considering offering this service.
