We are Harrison class!
We have children in Years 4,5 and 6 in our class and our class name is Harrison! We are named after Harrison Playing Fileds which were given to the Parish Council in 1949 by William Harrison, a local boy who became a wealthy businessman and wanted to ensure that there was always a place for the children of Giggleswick to play.
The subjects we enjoy the most in school are Maths, PE, Music and Art. In our class, a small group of children usually plan a collective worship each week for the rest of the school. Our recent themes have included stories that raise issues, British values and news stories. Our Y6 children are the School Prefects, they enjoy putting our School Values and Magnificent Manners into action.
Our class teacher is Mrs Haynes and we are supported by Mrs Vickery, Mrs Clay and Mrs Chapman.
