Welcome to Hellifield Community Primary School!  We are a caring school at the heart of our local community and we passionately believe in involving our pupils in active learning, both indoors and out.  Hidden behind our impressive school building is a huge area for children to play in and explore.  We have a large field, a wildlife area, an allotment where we grow our own fruit and vegetables and a state of the art climbing frame to keep us fit and active.  It is even big enough for the adults to have a go!

Our 3 classes are named after the stages of growth of an oak tree, chosen because they are mighty and strong.  In Acorn Class we teach Reception and Year 1 children; in Saplings Class our Year 3, 4 and 5 children learn and in our Oak Class the Year 5 and 6 children are educated.

We work closely with our feeder setting, Chipmonks Day Nursery, who share our wonderful site.  We also offer on-site wrap around care, led by experienced staff.
