Giggleswick Primary is a jewel of a school tucked away next to St. Alkelda’s Church in the ancient village of Giggleswick. Not many people know we are hidden there behind the stone cottages, but once you find us you will never forget us!
Giggleswick Primary is a smaller than average school catering for children between the ages of 4 and 11. We run a friendly and popular breakfast club (Gigglers) and a range of after school clubs, too.
We organise our lovely pupils into three classes, all named after local landmarks. Tems Class (named after the stream that flows through the village) is where our Reception and Year 1 children learn and play. In Alkelda Class (named after the church of St Alkelda) you will currently find our Year 2, 3 and 4 pupils and in Harrison Class (named after our village playing field) our Year 5 and 6 pupils are taught.
We are proud of our little school and can’t wait to welcome you for a visit!
